FAA certifies Boeing 737 MAX 7 after nearly a decade
The FAA type-certified the Boeing (BA) 737 MAX 7 on August 3, ending one of commercial aviation's longest certification programmes. Launch customer Southwest Airlines expects first passenger service in early 2027. The approval also clears the way for MAX 10 certification work.
