Air Cairo orders 15 A320neos in first direct Airbus purchase
Air Cairo placed a firm order for 15 A320neos, its first direct purchase from Airbus after building its fleet on leased examples, and selected CFM LEAP-1A engines. With 40 aircraft in service, the order could expand the fleet by more than a third; ownership gives more cost control as it grows Egypt–Europe leisure flying.
